Al Lado del Rio
“In the Heart of the Hill Country”

Since 1945, our family has enjoyed Al Lado del Rio with the five guest cottages for private gatherings. When not in use by family members, we invite you to share our guest houses with us, acknowledging the fact that we are not a commercial business, as such, but a family oriented environment.

This quiet retreat is located in the Hill Country off of HWY 39, just 9 miles west of Kerrville, Texas between the towns of Ingram and Hunt. We are near the summer camps of the area and the Hill Country Arts Foundation.

Our property fronts on the beautiful Guadalupe River which is a great spot for swimming, lounging and picnicking. The houses are within easy walking distance from the river.

We have 5 guest houses:
Chula Vista		La Casita		Casa Blanca		Casa Grande		Casa Montalbano

All houses have full kitchens, cable TV, heat and air,
ceiling fans, patios and/or decks.*

*Casa Montalbano has wall-mount A/C units and TV for video and DVD only (no cable).
